Please help Alaska!
His current Fosterer can no longer care for him due to a change in circumstances and we need to home him out ASAP.
Alaska’s rehoming journey has not been smooth at all. Adopted as a wee puppy, he was returned to us after 2 years. He was then rehomed again but after a year, he was returned to us again.
He’s a fearful dog and has insecurities. Extremely sensitive to the doorbell, Alaska requires a lot of time and patience to settle into a new environment.
He’s not the type of dog that’ll warm up instantly and ask for belly rubs, but will need time to earn his trust. His playful side will emerge once he trusts you enough.
Alaska gets along fine with dogs, and had a tendency to nip when he gets overly excited, so boisterous kids are not encouraged in the household.
Otherwise, Alaska can be a very sweet and endearing dog that will revolve his life around yours when he’s accepted.
This boy has had very rough pasts and we hope to make it right the third time.
