We kicked off 2018 with extremely sad news; Ash, one of the pups that was adopted back in Aug 2016, was returned to us because his owners can no longer manage him.
This gorgeous boy, who is such a goofy dog was returned to us because he had bitten his adopter. Its very disappointing that when we handed over a puppy, and got mismanaged by his adopters, problems started to surface and they were not able to resolve it, and decided to return Ash to us. After 1 year of raising him from puppyhood, we cannot fathom how anyone could choose to return a family member, just like this.
Ash came to us with food aggression which has since been resolved. He was a socially awkward dog as he was under socialized, this too, has been resolved and he is now as happy as he was as a puppy. He has not bitten anyone since we took him back, or even attempted to bite or growl, at all. Sometimes, all these make us wonder what this poor boy went through in the 1 year with his adopters to have developed such issues, yet he is totally fine with us.
We choose to move on....since he is clearly not happy where he was, we will do our best to find him an even better and awesome family who will appreciate and embrace Ash for who he is; the goofy and clumsy young adult who is sorely misunderstood.
Ash is only 1.5 years, sterilized, chipped and gets along well with other dogs. He is NOT HDB approved due to his large frame, and would be suitable for families living in private property, preferably with another dog.
Adopt a Special, adopt Ash!
